Universities and Higher Education in Anguilla 2026: Colleges, Admissions and Study Guide
Anguilla is a small British Overseas Territory in the Caribbean, but its higher-education landscape is much more developed than older university directories suggest.
An earlier version of this University Encyclopedia page stated that there was “no university and no college in Anguilla.”
That statement is no longer correct.
The Government of Anguilla confirms that the Anguilla Community College (ACC) was established in April 2009 to support tertiary education and technical training on the island. The Government also maintains a current list of higher-education providers operating in Anguilla.
For students, the important question is therefore not whether higher education exists in Anguilla.
It does.
The better questions are:
Which institution is legally recognised or licensed?
Is it a local college, a university, an overseas university campus or another type of provider?
